Ronald McDonald House South Island is a registered charitable trust established to support families with children receiving hospital care. 

The trust is managed by a voluntary board of trustees, a small team of staff and many volunteers.

Ronald McDonald House programmes provide accommodation and daily necessities to families with children in hospital.  They act as a safe haven for families to meet, eat, rest and sleep while remaining close to the hospital. 

 

Dairyworks continues to give ongoing support, providing Ronald McDonald House in Christchurch with cheese and Ronald McDonald Family Room, Southland Hospital with cheese and butter.  The team at Dairyworks also love being part of their dinner programme, which helps ensure families are receiving home cooked meals without taking precious time away from their loved ones.
